gecKo mathematics has been created for the web from the English translations of the Korean 6th national mathematics curriculum for grades 1 through 6 that was in place in Korea in 1994, the year Korean students were ranked second behind Singaporean students on the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS).
Translations were partially funded by the National Science Foundation ESIE SGER Award 0086580, by grants from the Eisenhower Foundation through the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education, and by Truman State University.
